Andrew DeLapo

Mathematics PhD Student, University of Connecticut

I am interested in mathematical logic and especially computability theory. I entered the Mathematics PhD program at UConn in Fall 2021, and now I am in my third year. I currently serve as President of the AMS Graduate Student Chapter at UConn.

My current research is in reverse mathematics and computable topology. I have also studied algorithmic randomness. My PhD advisors are Professors Damir Dzhafarov and Reed Solomon.

During the Spring 2024 semester, I am an instructor for Math 1071Q: Calculus for Business and Economics at UConn. I have previously worked as a Teaching Assistant for Calculus I, II, and Multivariable Calculus.
